Someone has asked me for a carrousel to put inside his web, but he needs it goes inside a centered table cell, because is the way he build sites, and he needs the carrousel to be centered all the time.
I have three panes for the carrousel, put first inside the cell, and other…? I dont know where!! Where should I put them? I put them outside the table, and it doesnt work.
I pushed an update to Carousel yesterday afternoon that should let you create a centered inline Carousel construction. Here’s how to do that:
Double-click inside the table cell (or outer HTML box) where you want the Carousel effect to appear, so you see a flashing text cursor.
From the main menu, choose Insert / HTML Item. Click once on the resulting 100px square inline HTML box.
Use the Inspector to set the dimensions for this box, which will become your first pane. Set the Margin to Auto, which will center it inline within the container element (table cell or DIV, depending on your construction style).
Add your first pane’s content to that inline HTML box, either as child elements or inline content. (For child elements, simply draw another box over and within the pane while the pane is selected. The outer edge of the pane will glow blue to indicate that the pane is the parent of the item you are drawing. Click again on the pane each time you need to draw additional child items.)
Once you have your first pane set how you like it, select it with a single click and copy to the clipboard. Click on the page in a blank spot and paste. You will have an exact copy of the entire nested pane. Apply the Carousel Action to the first (inline) pane, and apply Carousel Pane to the duplicate. Drag that duplicate somewhere else on screen where it won’t obscure anything important, and make the content changes needed for your second pane. Duplicate this second pane to make additional panes.
The result will be an inline, centered Carousel effect, with as many other panes as you need animating into it.
