[Pro] Change URL

Is it really true that even in the newest version of FW Pro I can’t paste a new url to replace an old one? What a pain. Surely I’m missing something…

Can anyone clue me into a better way? I’ve tried to drag n drop from safari & the desktop and that’s not working either.

I can’t paste a new url to replace an old one

I am not sure exactly what you are trying to do here. Can you be more specific?

I copied the url to my clipboard, and I wanted to paste it into the freeway document via the edit>urls>edit command. The paste function (command v on the mac) does not work and is grayed out in the edit menu. That either seems like a bug or I’m trying to do something FreeWay doesn’t like.

Yes I see - and No it doesn’t work for me either.

Maybe I am missing a trick but I can’t say that I have ever needed this feature. But that may well be a workflow issue.

I find it handy when a site I’m linking to has changed it’s url. If it occurs in several places throughout my site it is faster to change it via the url menu than each individually. But not being able to paste the url from my clipboard is a bummer.
