When I “preview in browser” with Safari my site looks (mostly) fine, but when I do it in Firefox the layout is altered, ie. the navigation bar moves out of line in relation to a neighbouring image.
Also, I’ve set up link rules on the master page so that all links on the site behave in the same way. All of them work correctly when previewed in Firefox, but one is the wrong colour in Safari.
This is driving me nuts! Any help will be gratefully received.
I can’t post a link as the site isn’t online, but the specifics are that “Preview in Browser” (Safari), shows the vertical navigation bar (CSS menu) matching the placing in Freeway, but “Preview in Browser” (Firefox) shows it moved down by 10px.
The link I’m having trouble with is a HTML text link and is the only link I have so far created other than those in the navigation bar. However, in Firefox the text is black (as it should be) but in Safari it is purple.
I hope this makes sense. Please let me know if you need more info. I could send screen shots later if it would help but I’m away from my computer at the moment.
Cheers
Is there a form on this page, by any chance? That’s possibly the only thing I can think of that would influence the padding of the page between browsers.
