I need to find an easy CMS package for a Freeway 7 site. I just need to add a simple section to a site where my client can post updates and news. I can not pay a monthly fee, but I am okay with a flat fee. I am new to version 7, and have had great difficulty with Actions in this version of Freeway. I could not get either the responsive video action or the send form action to function. I do not code. I do not want to spend $40.00 (US dollars) for an action I can not make work. Has anyone found an easy product that works in F7? The documentation that I have read shows Joomla has issues with version 6. I appreciate your help and recommendations.

It sounds like Joomla would be major overkill for what you want to do.
For simple client editable sections you could do a lot worse than PulseCMS.com at $29 per site.
However if you really are a non-coder then I am not sure that any CMS is going to be easy for you.
The SendForm/PHP Feedback form actions are really pretty straightforward and if you cant get them to fly (barring server issues) then dont attempt to integrate a CMS.
I second Pulse but make sure you look at their ‘Classic’ version. They have a newer (as in different) version that is more involved. Pulse Pricing - Get Pulse here
