[Pro] CMS - Recommendations?

I need something easy to understand.
Good for uploading a number of pictures as well as text.
Robust and good value!
Any recommendations from anyone who has experience with using the Actions available, would be appreciated.

Many thanks!

Take a look at WebYep and Max’s action pack. That’s about as simple as it’ll get. Not meaning that in a way that you’ll just ‘pick it up,’ but rather it’s the least complicated, I feel, of the 3-4 CMS options you have to choose from.

I personally use ExpressionEngine, but that sounds like it’s way more than you need. Plus Max is great with support.

I second this wholeheartedly.

I’ve used Max’s WebYep actions with ObDev’s WebYep CMS for a while
and on a number of different sites. The WebYep system isn’t as
powerful as many CMSs, but on the other hand it is more than powerful
enough for almost everything I’ve ever needed to do.

And the importance of its ease of use really shouldn’t be
underestimated. There’s not a lot of point in going for something
that’s all-powerful if it is too hard to figure out and deploy.

Easy to understand: yes.
Good for uploading a number of pictures as well as text: yes.
Robust and good value: yes.

Also, works well with normal Freeway design and production workflows: yes.

There are a few small wrinkles to deal with, such as adding a (free)
rich text editor module to provide easy text styling and link
creation. But that’s not at all difficult; just ask in the
Freewaytalk list when you get WebYep in place. (He says, assuming
that you’ll go for this solution.

Actually, you need both those links. One is to the Freeway actions
that make it easy to use WebYep in Freeway, the other is to the
WebYep product itself.

For the sake of full disclosure (sorry Max), technically you can incorporate WebYeb into a Freeway page without Max’s plug-ins, but you will have to manually insert the markup items to do so. Max’s suite makes it much simpler.
