[Pro] Conflict Between Simple Site Search and Favicon?

Some time ago I applied the Favicon page action to my master page. It places my firm’s icon next to the page name on the browser tab when each page is displayed. Worked great.

Today I applied the Simple Site Search page action to the same master page. Together with the other actions in the SSS suite, this sets up a site search box on every page of the site. It works great too, except the Favicon action no longer works. Reapplying Favicon doesn’t help.

Ideas?

Hi Robert,
I’ve just checked these Actions together in a simple example (http://users.softpress.com/tim/favicon-search/) and they appear to be working well. Do you have a page URL that you can share? It would help if I can see the page code to see if the favicon HTML is getting written correctly.
Regards,
Tim.

Thanks, Tim, for the quick reply. Now I’m getting peculiar and inconsistent results. In Safari, the two actions seem to work fine together. In Google Chrome, Favicon sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. Here’s a page:

Hi Robert,
Odd. I can see your favicon on your site when I use Chrome and it appears in the tab rather than next to site URL.
Regards,
Tim.

What did you use to create the icon?
