[Pro] Contact Form

Hello, I’ve created a contact form on my website, www.greenscapeorganics.com. Everything works fine, except I don’t receive the email after the form has been submitted. I downloaded the PHP Feedback Form Action. Everything is set correctly in the action, and I have even tried turning the “use GoDaddy’s mail script” off and on (they are my host) but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. Thanks for the help!

Have you gone to the GD form mailer setup section as outlined here http://help.godaddy.com/article/508

Hi David,

Yes, I had set everything up correctly in GoDaddy. I called them this afternoon, and unfortunately the PHP form (I think that’s what it’s called) can only be used with the primary domain on my account. I asked if there was some sort of add-on, and the answer was no. This seems ridiculous as I have 10 domains hosted under my main account…so none of them can take advantage of a contact form. Any ideas on how to get a contact form working without using GoDaddy will be greatly appreciated!

GD are a PITB when it comes to form processing, their non-standard PHP implementation creates headaches all the time.

The best solution is to move to a sensible hosting provider.

Though I use them for Domain registration/management I will not host with them.

If you can only use their form processor on your Primary account then that is a restriction too far.

If they allow you to run cgi scripts then you could use formmail by Matt Wright but it is a bit long in the tooth. Matt's Script Archive: FormMail: Readme
