Can somebody walk me through the process of creating a sitemap from within FWP 6 and what the Site Mapper File Location and Site Mapper Page Option Actions are for and where they should be applied?
I looked all of this up in the latest FWP 6 documentation, but there was no mention of it anywhere, at least that I could find.

As far as the Sitemap, I was looking in the wrong manual. You’ll need to download the FWP Reference Manual. You’ll find it here: http://www.softpress.com/help/

Okay, still at a bit of a loss as to what to do here. Any help is appreciated.
Not sure if it matters, but my page is coded as XHTML 1.0 Strict.

Interesting. So how did you create your site map?

Hi
If you read the softpress kb article you will see a link to a site that creates the site map for you.

Yes, I saw that. I just didn’t know if you decided to stick with a FWP created sitemap or use one of the external services.

No removed the FWP action and went the external route.
Working on the basis that the fundamental site will not change that much over the next month or so decided that the external method would be ok, if I change the site to the extent that I need an updated site map , then the external method is not that much of a challenge.

Really? Do you think that’s better than the Site Map action built into FWP?

I pulled this off Twitter, an XML site map how-to for Perch http://tinyurl.com/ashoozq . Worth reading.

Thanks Todd. So, basically I would need at least two site maps. One for my FWP pages and one for my Perch blog. Is that correct?

No. Only one site map per site.
Is only the blog under Perch? Not the entire site?
