[Pro] creating clean html from MS Word

MS Word (2011) claims to create HTML from word docs, but it is very “unclean” HTML. Can Freeway help me in this in any way?

Not sure what the question is here.

If you are using Word to create your HTML then FW cant help because it is NOT an HTML editor.

If you want FW to create the HTML then you need to start from raw text, images etc.

Even copying and pasting text from Word has its issues because if you dont “clean” it first then a lot of Word formatting is brought along for the ride.

If you are using text copied from a Word doc then first paste it into a Plain Text Editor - such as Text Mate, TextWrangler, BBEdit etc (making sure that they are set to use Plain Text mode - not RTF)

Then recopy and paste into your FW doc.

There is also an action called WordZapper that can help with this “cleaning” process.
