[Pro] css menu boxes

Hi - I’m new to freeway and learning it by rebuilding my own website (originally written in html).
Problem: I’m using multiple CSS menus for links on the front page so that I can have a hover background colour to each one.
When I put the links where I want them to be the boxes the text in is won’t agree to go smaller than the list text displays - and because the working text is indented with a bullet and in some face I can’t alter it is wider than the eventual link displays when previewed or published. So the boxes overlap and won’t work.
I’ve got other problems, but that will do for a start…

Hi Tamasin,

Try making the list Unindented by selecting all the text in it/them
and choosing Unindented from the Style field in the List Inspector.
That will allow you to make the width of the item much smaller.
