Is it possible to define a CSS style, say for menus, that includes specific link colors for just that menu? If so, how is that done?

The CSS Menu action has settings within the action interface to define link colours etc.
You can also define link colours (not within a CSS Menu) in the inspector on a page wide or on an item by item basis. Look in the inspector with nothing on your page selected. There is a Links section, open it up to see where you can change things. Same thing applies if you have an item selected - same options available.
Settings applied to an item will over-ride those set on a page-wide basis.

I found out that I’m basically stupid. I forgot that CSS menus have an action dialog, where you set all that stuff. LOL
