[Pro] CSS Menus - First Letter Uppercase?

Hi,

Recently just upgraded to Pro 7 - luvin’ it so far, really like the way of dealing with responsive websites now.

I’m having an issue with creating a CSS menu, the one that automatically generates. Actually I can create the menu just fine and it automatically generates but the issue surrounds the first letter of a menu link which are forced to be uppercase.

In other words if I name one of my main menu items iPhone (one of the links I wish to have as a main menu item) it automatically makes the ‘i’ uppercase as in IPhone - that’s a bit of a home goal in my opinion as the assumption is being made that all pages will start with an uppercase letter but in this world of tech we live in now, we know that’s not the case.

Is there anyway I can resolve this?

Thanks

If you post a link to the page, I may be able to offer you a very specific solution. It sounds to me as though Freeway is generating CSS that includes the text-transform: capitalize instruction. You’ll need to come up with a more-specific rule that turns that back off. If I’m wrong, then it’s happening inside the Action, and you’ll have to petition Softpress for a control over this behavior.

Sorry to report this, but it’s not being done in CSS, which means you should post a support question to support(a)softpress.com and ask them how to influence this behavior (it’s internal to the Action, in other words).
