[Pro] CSS submenu behind other elements on page

Hey folks,

A site I did two years ago came back in for some updates. Now, the CSS submenu isn’t functioning properly.

Can you all look at

Far right in the menu, “About Us” should have a drop down. It used to work. Now it doesn’t. Incidentally, Freeway also reversed the direction my css menu contents by default.

I’ve employed the z-index = 100 trick using page markup Before to no avail:

Any other thoughts?

Hi Andrew,

Try selecting the menu in Freeway and choosing Item>Bring to Front. That should fix the overlapping problem. As for the order of options problem, do you have “Text Direction Right to Left” text selected in the Actions palette? That’s the only thing I can think of that would cause that to happen.

I did some searching and found that solution on an older post. It seems to work in Preview. Can’t believe it’s that simple. :stuck_out_tongue: thanks.

Will try uploading now.

As to the text, the “right to left” checkbox was ticked in the main menu section when I opened up the freeway file. This file hadn’t been opened since august of 2008 or so. Something happened. Not sure what, but it was an easy fix.

Thanks for your quick response!
Andrew

Great. The Right to left text didn’t previously reverse the order. If it was ticked it wouldn’t have looked any different back then.
