I’m building a site that requires an English version as well as a Spanish version. What’s the best way of approaching this?

If you make it for someone else, let them provide the translation. Iff not, try a student on your local univerity iff money would be an issue?
i’m not such a big fan of the web’s translating programms, nice for quick scan, but not for serious translating.
Take it serious, everybody is ( intented to) reading it.

Oh, let me clarify…
I will be having our Spanish headquarters translate everything, I’m just wondering about the best way to make this.
Should I plan on creating 2 compete sites?

Hi Duotone,
A KB article on this subject was added recently. Take a look here:

A simple way would be to create two folders in the site panel, one for
English and one for Spanish. Create your English site first, then
duplicate the pages and drag them into the Spanish folder. Now flow
in the translated text in place of the English content (watch out for
differences in length, which may mean some tidying up).
If you use an entry page, just create button or text links to the
appropriate index page in each folder. (The first page in each new
folder is given the file name index.html automatically).
If you prefer to default to the English page, leave that at root level
and not in the folder, then link as above.
The alternative is to use PHP, which means you can create one site
and dynamically load each language - but that’s for the more
technically minded to explain.

Thanks all!
I’ll post the site link when completed… like, in a couple years!
