In order to make those phone numbers stand out I’ve added a background colour.
Why does the phone numbers at the top right of this page http://ow.ly/GZodQ disappear when viewed on a mobile (in this case an iPhone) device?
All the number are set to white, the background is set to a blue. The only part showing is tel: and iPhone.
Can anyone resolve this problem?

You’ve got Link, Hover and Visited set to the same colour as the background for that item and when the iPhone interprets the numbers as links they “disappear”

Indeed, and although they are no ‘real’ links, the desktop browser won’t treat the phone numbers as links … they’re just plain html characters. Your iPhone however will detect phone numbers, and treat them like links, where Simon’s explanation comes in … the link colors are the same as the background color is.
When you -whithin Freeway- create links out of the numbers (using the protocol ‘tel:’) this would have been shown directly in your Freeway preview or your desktop browser. This, by the way, is the way to go; although the iPhone will detect numbers automatically, I don’t trust every phone will, so I always will create ‘phone-links’. This also will show issues like this.
