No matter what I do, the text in the large image is illegible. I’ve scanned it as a high quality tiff and the file looks fine when I look at the .jpg version on my computer but in the Showcase Gallery, it shows up unclear. I have jpg quality set at 100% in the Showcase Gallery setting. PNG is no different. Any ideas would be really appreciated. Thanks.

This looks like a DPS being displayed at less than 1/2 size - it isn’t ever going to be that readable.
If you really want it readable then you are gong to have to use another method to display it.
You could try using the original as a pass-through in Showcase but I am not sure that even that will give you the readability you want and it will certainly produce large file sizes - even bigger than the 0.75Mb you have already.

Maybe but you have huge file sizes - slow to load!

You really should clean up your file names to remove spaces and any other strange characters. Files should be named using alphanumerics (A-Z, a-z, 0-9) and underscores _ and - hyphens. Anything else can trip up servers and/or browsers

I’ve been resizing everything and got that image down to 565k
I do understand about the names but some things have to stay for now like " and ’ and they’re working so far. I really appreciate your help. It was counterintuitive to me that smaller would be better but it’s true in this case. Thanks so much; big help.
