[Pro] E-Buy Button Shop Action Problems - HELP

Hi -

I’ve carefully read the instruction for setting up the Shop Actions. And I have a working Mal’s Account, where the shopping cart has been behaving well for months. Now I want to explore using Freeway to build the site.

I’ve set up a test Freeway document, and configured the Actions correctly. But when I test the created E-Buy button in the browser, I get a Mal’s error window saying it can’t connect to my server to load the new configuration. It says I should correct the URL in my Mal’s admin details section. I checked, and it is correct. And, like I said, this cart is working well otherwise.

Is there a permission somewhere that I’ve overlooked?

Any help greatly appreciated.

I found the problem, thanks to a nice post from Tim Plumb back in February (http://www.freewaytalk.net/thread/view/103528). The problem was that I was testing this is a subdirectory, and Mal’s wanted to see the config file - /Users/kipshaw/Sites/webyep-mals-test/malsettings.cfg - at the root level. When I put the config file at the root level, Mal’s found it, and all was well.
