[Pro] easy question hyperlink youtube - frustrated

Hi,

How can I create a hyperlink of an HTML word link to a video on youtube and have it open in a new window on top of my site?

I tried
_scriptylightbox but that just shows a white window (probably movie does not allow it)

-spawn new window will not do it (i may be doing something wrong, it opens in a new tab)

-I can’t see the option under item, action, link to new window.

frustrated…

thanks,

Barry

I changed it to graphic text for now. Probably not the best way but I am finding hyperlinking and using scriptylightbox and spawn new window all easier to use with graphic text than HTML for now. I find with HTML I have to remember so many different ways to hyperlink and change settings. I am sure it will take time.

Thank!!!

Hi,

To link from a word, just mark this word then add the url with CMD - K

This is the most fundamental way of hyperlinking.

OK - here is one solution. Dont know if it is the best but it works. It uses SL2

http://www.deltadesign.co/fw_examples/popupform.html

The way I have done this is to use the iFrame action on a FW page sized just big enough for the iFrame that has as its source the embed URL of the video - in this case that is:

Then on the page that I want this video to pop-up I use an internal link to the FW page with the iFrame on it in the ScriptyLightbox 2 action.
