Open the image in Photoshop directly?

You’ll have to use Freeway’s Resources… dialog from the Edit menu to
update the image, but it should work.

Sounds as if Freeway has lost contact with your Photoshop application.
When you control+click the image in the Edit menu click on Customize
and you should be able to navigate to where your copy of Photoshop
resides. You can also add any other graphic applications you may use
(e.g. Illustrator, Graphic Converter, iPhoto, etc) in the same way.

So you can choose to open a picture in any application you like,
easily. Usually, it just works; if it doesn’t, I’d suspect System
problems.

Definitely not normal - so could be system problem or maybe a re-
installation of FW Pro might be needed. Also, If the file dialog
failed to open on “Customize” did you try the “Update” button to the
right of it?

Incidentally, you can also get to the image edit menu from the Item
Menu/Modify, or by using the keys Shift+Alt+Command+M together or just
by double clicking the image itself. Though, as they all go to the
same place, I doubt if any of these will help or your problem.
