I have a few website pages that are very long. One item was over 30,000px. Several were in the 20,000px range. Editing them (bolding, italicizing, etc.) was very, very slow. After bolding a word, for example, Freeway would freeze my cursor for about five seconds before releasing it. Needless to say, this was maddening.
Freeway tech support gave me two excellent recommendations: (1) click Style > Remove Styling, then rebuild the page’s styling using just a trimmed-down number of permanent styles; and (2) break the long page down into multiple, smaller text-box items.
With those two recommendations done, the page is now able to be edited at the normal, lightning-fast speed. Thanks, Tech Support!
