[Pro] Email action

Hi - I’ve put together a web page which is fine when previewed locally, but when I click the “preview on server” button, it shows as two empty squares with question marks. I may have been too adventurous. Can anybody give me any guidance, please?

Check the document setup dialog. There’s a field there where you enter the web address of the site, and the email action relies on that very heavily. If your site is being published into a folder on your server, like http://example.com/email but your Freeway document doesn’t create that folder (as part of a larger site) then you should include that folder name as part of the address you enter in the document setup. Otherwise, just put in the base URL.

Thanks, Walt. I’ve checked that and the name and path are fine. The page is at the top level of the folder, so no folder name needed. I also temporarily deleted the part of the page that I thought might be “too adventurous”, and that didn’t work. Will

Post a link to the page and we can have a look at your code.

Looks like you’ve entered “http://bramhill.net/mail.html” in your Web Address field. That’s the location of the email page, you need to put location of your web address (or in other words, the place you’re uploading to). Change it to “http://bramhill.net/” and it will work.
