[Pro] email address problem

I am using Freeway Pro 5.5 - Have a graphic that is used to click for an email. The correct email address keeps changing to one that is not correct. The email, which is correct, does not go through. The area in the hyperlinks box keeps changing to an incorrect address. This address is seen in the external hyperlink “quick links.” First, how do I remove the incorrect addresses from “quick links”. Second, why is it not accepting the correct link. (The link is correct - I can use it in my mail program.

Are you using an action for this Tobe or is it just a mailto link

Can you post a link to your page.

I have been typing this address onto the external hyperlinks area: email@hidden It keeps getting changed to cornerstonevse%40gmail.com

I get this message when clicking on it to get to the emaiL: “Firefox can’t find the file at /Users/tobesaskor/Desktop/saved desktop/Cornerstone Arabian Center - photos 1:11/Cornerstone Arabians /email@hidden.”

Also: I am now using Freeway 5.5. I cannot now get an image to come to the front of the bottom of the document. “Bring to Front” does not work.

I have put the image that I want to use as an email below the bottom maroon area of the website.

The page I am working on at the moment is: file:///Users/tobesaskor/Desktop/*****CORNERSTONE%20ARABIAN%20CENTER%202:11:11/Cornerstone%20Arabian%20Center%20-%20photos%201:11/Cornerstone%20Arabians%20/aboutusnewa.html

Try going to Edit > URLs and change the email from there.

Is the item you are trying to get to the front a layer? Check in the inspector - I suspect it is not a layer.

We cannot see your local file - you will need to upload it so that we can see.

Yea. That solves the e-mail address problem.
I have been using Freeway Pro 4 until this time. Now i am using Freeway Pro 5.5. Before, I simply put one item on top of another. Clicked “bring forward” if necessary andEVERYTHING WORKED. I DO NOT KNOW ABOUT “LAYERS”.
I APPRECIATE YOUR HELP with all of this!

To work with layers make sure the big CSS button is green and not blue. And if you are unsure, then you can change any item inside the inspector.

The CSS button at the top of my Freeway Pro 5.5 screen is not of any color. It is dark gray and switches to a lighter gray. I tried switching from one to the other and then dragging my e-mail item on top of the maroon border. It still stays beneath the maroon border.

The colour of the CSS button is determined by your OS system colour so not a true representation of OFF or ON

What you should note is the text under the button.

CSS Layout is layers on

Table Layout is layers off

But turning off or on does not change items that already in existence - only future items.

If you want to change the layer state of an item select it and in the HTML inspector you will see a tickbox under the first Tab where you can choose whether the item is to be layered or not.

Folks who say ‘hit the blue button’ often forget that its appearance
depends on what you have set under ‘Appearance’ in Mac OS X System
preferences. You can choose between ‘Blue’ and ‘Graphite’ and it
sounds as though you have ‘Graphite’ chosen.
