[Pro] Email greetings problem

Hi chaps, I thought I’d done this properly but am having a few problems, I’d quite like to get it right as I’d like to send it to a few clients and it’s not going to look very professional if it doesn’t work. Anyone able to have a look and offer advice I’d be most grateful … here is a link to the uploaded page from which, in Safari, I “Mail contents of this page” - then mail opens and the image in the mail programme has two envelopes and the logo squidged up:

… then when it’s ‘clicked’ the background ‘movie’ appears and in Safari (on my Mac) the text revolves around “Strictly Graphic Designing” - however in Safari on my little PC the text doesn’t reveal ! … here’s the link to the card:

Thanks so much to anyone offering assistance … and, of course, Season’s Greetings.

Roger

As an addition (relating to the earlier post) what is the tiny blue icon in the top left corner of an image in freeway - also this particular image doesn’t show up when I click the preview tab in Freeway … many thanks Roger

Well I now know the blue thingy is the link symbol … but to continue … I’ve sorted out the ‘double image’ but now there is no background colour when I view the email on a PC and the fact that I cannot see the revolving text layer, if I refresh the page I see that the ‘layer’ is there but it’s at the back - so it’s in the front on my mac but at the back on the PC - any ideas please Roger

At the moment, you’ve got two instances of a Flash Player for the main center animated image - one right over the top of the other. This looks to be intentional?

If you use Click To Flash* (Flash Blocker) in Safari you can really see - click the top one and it reveals, but the lower one is still “blocked”, but clearly there. If one waits and then click again the two both reveal finally. *CTF is personal preference, but my Safari hangs and crashes less using it.

I cannot speak to Safari on PC, but it’s working in Safari/Mac here. Also works in Opera (no Flash blocker running).

Thanks for that igirl - yes it plays well (two layers) on my Mac - but on my PC the layers seem to be reversed, I think this is a flash dominance thing so I’ll try a different format for the background movie and hope that works the problem is I want the background movie to loop and the foreground movie to play once ! … Roger

I think I’ve worked around my problems with some compromise but any comments are very welcome - best Roger
