[Pro] embed iCal

Hello, I’m laying out a site for an elementary school. The staff uses iCal and wants to know if I can put it on their site. I have done a google calendar but can’t seem to figure out how iCal can be set up. Is it even possible?
Thanks

I don’t know of any simple way to embed the view of an iCal calendar,
but you can add a link that anyone can use to subscribe to that
calendar (following the CalDAV protocol, it’s an open standard, usable
on Mac and Windows computers). Control-click on your calendar name in
iCal, and choose Share from the options. In the dialog, choose Share
with everyone, give it a name, and you should end up with a caldav
URL. Copy this URL, and apply it to a little calendar icon as an
External Hyperlink. Anyone who clicks on this link will (if their
computer was made in the last few years and they haven’t done anything
stooopid) get an automatic dialog from Outlook or iCal asking them to
confirm subscribing to the calendar. This is a read-only thing, so
it’s entirely safe.

If you want a user to be able to see an iCal calendar on your Web
page, or to interact with the calendar (post items, etc.), there’s a
great open-source project called PHPiCalendar and that can do anything
at all. However, it’s a very geeky bit of software, at least it was
the last time I tried to build something with it. Not for the faint of
heart or inexperienced hand-coder.

Walter,

Thanks for your help. It’s up and works just fine.
