The more I have got into handcoding, I have come to appreciate the real benefit of Externalising CSS Stylesheets and how Freeway can be limited regarding this.
If I use the actions on Actionsforge regarding external Stylesheets… how much CSS can actually be moved from the Freeway page. I understand that all text CSS styles can move… but what about CSS positioning and attributes of DIVS?
Hi Jon,
Although very much a ‘work in progress’ project the Externalize action
(http://www.freewayactions.com/test/externalize/) attempts to move
both inline and head CSS and JavaScripts to external files.
It’s not a perfect solution at the moment but it should get you closer
to where you want to be with your CSS styles.
