This is odd. I’ve noticed that both my page and Helveticus’ page are not showing the Like button as of yesterday. Just to be sure it wasn’t a browser issue, I get identical results on my iPhone too:
The difference seems to be that BigG used the iFrame code, while Helveticus and I used the XFBML code. It appears there is some problem with Facebook (link below), but that sure is bad timing for someone who was just asking Facebook friends to Like my page!

Seems to just affect the XFBML code, so I just changed my site to use the iFrame code (I had already looked at your site’s source code to see you used iFrame code), and that solved the problem on my site (though I’m sure Facebook will fix the XFBML bug eventually).
Just wanted to say a big thank you to Jo Billings and Marcel in particular as I’ve been trying to get this code to work for ages. I’m still playing with it but you can see it on my home page here: http://www.stevecoxillustration.com
the code @Joe Billings was one of the only things that worked. anything on the facebook page for me when added to freeway did not work at all and in preview, and preview in browser, showed nada. very frustrating and tried all 3 versions. Iframe included. Not sure what i did and how anyone above got it to work but the code above did work and so THANK YOU
sorry guys I’m a real newbie. Learned a lot and my website ready to go live soon. But before I do, I want to add a facebook like button. But I dont understand anything about adding code lines, so all advice above is over my head.
Is there an easier way for someone with my skill level to add one?
my site is daveremnant.co.uk
There’s an Action in Freeway 5.5 that will do that for you automatically.

I’m no expert, but I’ve tweaked my website enough times with Freeway Pro that hopefully I have a few tips to help add a Facebook Like button using Freeway Pro 5.4:
Copy the first code, then in Freeway go to Page>Markup (this adds the necessary code to make the button work), and paste it in the obvious box.
Copy the 2nd code from the Facebook page, then go to Freeway: Insert>Markup Item, and paste the 2nd code in the obvious box (this will create a blank box that will display the Facebook Like button).
Preview the layout in a browser and see if it works. You don’t always have to, but you can manually enter the dimensions of the Facebook button to match the black square box for the button that appears while in Freeway Pro. Just click the Markup box, then go to Window>Inspector and the second row of numbers will be the width and height of the box.
If you’re like I was the first time, you’ll probably mess around with it a bunch until you get it just right. Just save iterations of your work, so you don’t screw anything up too much (I wish Freeway Pro had more than one level of undo… I assume that hasn’t changed since my last attempt?)
Oh, and I just realize, this may be important (I can’t remember exactly how this works, or if it may have changed). You may want to be sure to first set up a Facebook page for your site, then the FB page and your site URL will be linked. I can’t remember if there’s a way to link them afterwards, but I think it may be more straight forward to get your FB page first, then find the way to link to from your FB page to your URL (sorry, I would have to research to give details, and I’m tapped out for the day).
You can see how it the FB and Google+1 links work at my Freeway-built site, using basically the above methods: http://BubCap.com
