[Pro] file format error

I have a site that has always worked beautifully. I just upgraded to version 6.1.2 and now when I try to publish or upload, I get the following error message: Could not read graphic because file format is bad. (-26009:283:530)

I can’t find what this means and what file it is referring to. Is there any sort of an error checker in the program?

It’s referring to one of the images you have placed on a page in this site document. Try opening the Edit / Resources dialog from the main menu, and click Resample All. Often times that will kick the file back into play. If it does not, you may need to do the binary quick sort to figure out which item is the actual culprit.

To do the quick sort, save your document (so you have all your latest changes), then delete half the pages. Publish, and see if the site will publish without error. If it does, then revert to the saved version, and delete half of the pages you previously deleted (so a quarter of the total). If it doesn’t, then revert and delete the other half of the pages. Keep doing this until you find the one page where the troubled image is.
