[Pro] Firefox font problem

I have just rewritten my brass bands website.

In Safari it looks and works fine. It seems to behave in Explorer on a windows machine too.

However I have a problem with it in Firefox both on Mac and PC. On some pages the font (trebuchet) seems to be bitmapped. It doesn’t happen on everypage, some are displayed correctly. I have checked the page source and the css seems to be exactly the same on both the correct and offending pages.

So looking at ‘history’ page eveything is fine but look at ‘our patron’ or ‘musical director’ and the font is knackered!

Anyone any ideas why?

Just uploaded it to see if it would right itself with publishing but no good.

All text on all pages looks the same here, ie, fine. Although on the
‘Our Patron’ page, the text is cut off at the bottom slightly.

best wishes,

I’ve had all kinds of problems with trebuchet in everything but Safari. I haven’t found any solution, it just seems that even though it is a ‘web safe’ font the browsers or maybe more importantly the operating system just displays it differently.

I’ve decided to go with Verdana instead.
