[Pro] Firefox, YouTube and MooTools

Wacky problem here:

My website looks fine in every browser but FireFox. I have some pop-up windows with a YouTube Video, some with a MooTools slideshow, some with both.

The pages with both, show all kinds of script around the YouTube video. Do Moo and You not happen together?

Example: http://www.xanadulasvegas.com/Movie%20Popups/ladymagdalene's.html

Thanks, up front!!

I had this happen using one of my sites about 2 days ago and since YouTube is a Flash Player it too was jumbling code around the outside of the Flash-based item I was using along with another instance of MooTools working in my accordion-based menu. Once I switched the Flash player to a similar thing using Javascript it went away and worked fine.

I think there is something causing a program between the two and perhaps Waltd or Weaver can chime in with any ideas. It does seems that it’s Firefox only. Even IE6 got it right, strange.

There is an issue with mootools and the way EOLAS items are sometimes dynamically generated. This is worked around inside FW, when adding Flash directly to the fw page page itself. But, could be ineffectual if the Flash is brought in from another source, like linked from YouTube and such.

I don’t have a solid workaround for that scenario, as each EOLAS loader is going to be different. The easiest thing would probably be to either link to the youTube video as a true link, and navigate to the page, or view the content through an iframe (would should hopefully shield the YouTube code from the parent’s modifications)
