[Pro] Flash Intro

Can someone tell me if there is a tutorial or directions on how to set up a flash intro for freeway pro? I am still kind of new and learning the ropes

Good, then you won’t have so much un-learning to do!

Flash intros are strictly last-century, and will lead to a steady erosion of whatever audience you may already have. The fastest-growing segment of your visitor base (mobile) will never see them at all, and those who do see them will be distanced from your actual content. How would you feel if the waiter kept showing up at random intervals, and told you about how amazing the food was going to be, and then disappeared for a while, and finally brought you the food much later?

Ask yourself what goal you want the Flash intro to achieve for you, and what it will contribute to the user experience for your visitors. There are ways to do anything you can do in Flash without Flash, but it’s a better question to ask “do I need this” before you go about making a replacement that is accessible (using JavaScript and Scriptaculous or jQuery). Henry Ford’s famous quote, often quoted by Steve Jobs: “If I had asked people what they want, they would have said ‘a faster horse’”. Question the premise, in other words.
