[Pro] Fonts

I’m just getting started. What are the fonts you recommend for the index page. Is that a basic question, or what?

Anything that pleases you and reflects your intentions.

As long as it is Verdana, Georgia, Times, Tahoma, Arial or Helvetica.

Dave, seriously, the issue of web-safe fonts for HTML text is
important to understand. Take a bit of time to read

Careful on that advice, take a look at this (somewhat-dated, but still consistent with today’s standards) list:

http://www.codestyle.org/css/font-family/sampler-CombinedResults.shtml

If you try to use a specific font set as HTML text and the person viewing your site doesn’t have that font on their system, things will look goofy. If you think that someone won’t have the font installed then use it as graphic text or create a font family by going to “Edit” and choosing “Fonts” in Freeway and then create a font-family which is essentially a list of your preferred fonts, then if a user doesn’t have the first one, it moves unto the second, and so on.

You should see some pre-setup one’s in the font list to give you an idea.
