[Pro] footer won't foot

I’m having three problems. Using Yosemite and 7.04

  1. I’ve been trying for several weeks to make a footer with four icons and a copyright date. Even decided to center them to make it easier. Seemed simple enough. But I can’t get them to stick at the page bottoms. If you look at the test page, which includes screen shots of page and item settings, it seems they should stay at 0% from the bottom. Instead it seems to stay about 900 pixels from the page top regardless of break points. (Is there something on my layout that makes the footer think that the page bottom is around 900 px from the top?)

I have tried doing this in a graphic item, in an html item, having the icons be pass through images, not be pass through images, having the icons be graphic images in an html box. I tried using superglue to hold them in place but that just mucked up my screen. I’ve run out of possible combinations, except the correct one it appears.

Page, with screen shots here: http://www.pantherpeakbindery.com/test.html

  1. My whole site is uploading every time, since the past four days or so. I could change a comma on one page and every video and audio file will now upload. Any idea why?

  2. Why does the inspector seem to stick? I click on different items on pages and I can’t get it to move half the time. (This one preplexes me the most.)

Any help would be appreciated.

The way I see it is that you have defined the position from the bottom as 0% and the min-height of the page as 100%.

I suspect that if you are not wisjing to create an inline layout you should define the distance from the bottom in px as well as the page height.

Thanks so much! I think I was getting too wrapped up in using percentages for everything. A little knowledge, it appears.

Thanks again.
