[Pro] Freeway 6 - a couple of questions

Hello everyone.
I haven’t upgraded yet (but am likely to do so over the next week or two), but I was just wondering; is there a Freeway 6 manual to download and look through before buying to acquaint myself with the new features?

Also, has Freeway 6 managed to rid itself of the ‘jumping boxes’ syndrome? What I mean is when I construct an inline layout and want to click in something everything will move until they hide themselves and I have to revert to the last version saved. I know you can select from the page structure icons, but using InDesign so much I easily get into the mindset of just clicking in a box and expecting it to just work.

Thanks in advance for any replies.

There’s a what’s new in 6 guide I’ll try and find the link.

Trev, there’s been a link posted several time to a What’s New pdf - search
the forum posts.

Far as inline layouts go, I’ve personally been very happy at the much
improved stability of the application. You may not get all the features you
want, but you won’t regret upgrading - especially as an inline
constructionist.

Simon, Ernie, thanks for the replies, much appreciated,

Ernie, more of a ‘budding’ inline constructionist - still lots to learn, but I have been slightly put off slightly by the jumping boxes in previous versions.

thanks again.

Ha! I am getting used to inline divs not rearranging themselves at the drop
of a hat much faster than I did when it was the other way around.

Seriously, a very worthwhile upgrade in my opinion.
