Just downloaded Freeway 7 and looking forward to creating responsive sites.
A question:
Before getting into the responsive bit, how do you create a site which expands proportionately with the browser window. i.e. draw open window never seeing the edge of the page. Sites like this are all over the place, but I need to create a ‘dynamic’ page and I can’t see the wood for the trees in the tutorials.
Do you mean when you make the browser wider and narrower the page conent flexes proportionality or moves to fit? If I’m getting your question right that is a responsive web page.
You could start playing with creating a Freeway page that is “Flexible” (see the Inspector palette) then placing HTML boxes that are flexible (set them with a percentage width say 80%) and position them with percentages say 10% from the left.
This should start you understanding the basics of flexible objects. Then experiment and learn.
