I was working on my Freeway project, then I slowly started realizing that Freeway mysteriously went back in time almost 3months with my project. I started noticing the changes I made… that Freeway undid almost 50+ times. This is a project for a client that I finished in June. I went in today to make a simple change the client requeted then all of a sudden i noticed spelling errors that were made 3 months ago were there again, and links that I added 3 months ago were gone. It’s like Freeway used TimeMachine and restored my project to when I first started it! Now i have a crashed site. Freeway has taken me back to square 3. !!!
It sounds a lot like you managed to open the fwbackup file instead of
the freeway file. That fwbackup file only gets updated each time you
successfully open the freeway file, so if you leave the freeway file
open for long stretches of time, it doesn’t change at all. Here’s a
clue to look for: what does the Freeway document say in its title bar
as the filename? If you opened the fwbackup, it will say untitled
[some number] rather than Your Filename.
