I’m not sure if this is a query for Softpress, or for Mals, but I thought I’d ask anyway.
I have just been upgrading Mirandas WebSite, http://www.mirandas-preserves.co.uk, including a Mals eShop Action, which I haven’t worked on for some considerable time. My problem is that clicking on the “Continue Shopping” Button in the Mals Shopping Cart, which worked successfully before the update, now returns a 404 Error, only loading a page displaying my standard WebHost generated incorrect address text. The problem as far as I can see is that the correct URL is followed by additional forward slash instructions, which do not link to any page on the WebSite. ie clicking the “Continue Shopping” Button, results in this garbled URL loading http://www.mirandas-preserves.co.uk/miranda///'spreserd.html?tp=CONTINUE+SHOPPING
So where do I go to edit the URL details such that the “Continue Shopping” Button then displays the correct Page of my choice. By reading the Manual, and posting on the Mals Forum I have managed to establish that apparently the “Continue Shopping Button is controlled by the Return Field in the product code on your Website”. In spite of much time spent searching I am unable to establish where to find this Return Field, whether within Mals, or Freeway. I have attempted to find the correct text entry via the Mals Admin pages, but cannot find a suitable location. I have worked my way through the Freeway Shop Folder Action, the Document Set-up Window, and the eBuy Actions within Freeway, all to no avail, so any help will be much appreciated, as my client is already becoming concerned at a drop-off in Internet orders.
The URL for the Continue Shopping button comes from a field, named return, that you include in the links to the cart on your website. See the FAQs and the documentation in Support for more details on how to set the field.

The ownership of Miranda’s Preserves has recently changed hands, and for this reason I edited the Page Title in the Inspector Pallet to reflect this change, but unfortunately I did include the apostrophe when I spelt out “Miranda’s Preserves.” I seem to remember coming across this problem back in the dim and distant past, and for the life of me, I can’t remember why it is a problem, other than that I assume that URL addresses cannot include an apostrophe, but deleting said apostrophe from the Page Title resolves the problem, and the “Continue Shopping Button” now reverts back to Miranda’s WebSite.

Good that they are trapping the issue, but they should be escaping it and not let it be a problem for you.

In your Mal’s account, select Cart Set-up, then in the Customize section, select Return Link, then in the following boxes:
Your Website box - enter the url of your return page
Text for Link - enter the name of your website
Request Method: select Hyperlink
Then select update records and all should be good!
