[Pro] Freeway shutdown after pasting

Hi,
Since I have updated to Freeway Pro 6 I have a lot of problems with the program shutting down almost everytime I’m pasting text from Word or from internet…
Does anyone know whtat’s wrong and still better, What I can do to avoid that?

Help would be much appreciated…

I’ve experienced crashing during paste operations as well. Have you tried pasting into a plain text app first to strip any styling, then pasting into Freeway?

This usually has to do with fonts, that’s about the only thing that can drop Freeway these days. Try using Paste and match style instead of Paste, to strip off any extended attributes.

Edit / Paste and Match Style in the menu bar, ⌥⇧⌘V, or right-click / Paste and Match Style.

But I would echo Caleb’s advice about pasting into a plain text editor like TextWrangler (Free) first before copying out and pasting into FW.

This clears out any extraneous Word/Web gremlins that are hanging on for grim death.
