[Pro] Frewway 7.1.1

Upgraded to Freeway 7.1.1 and already getting a headache.
Can anyone tell me why I’m getting a messed up result on iPhone?
You won’t see it on your desktop, you have to look on an actual iphone.
Everything is jammed to the left on the screen.

Please help.

Billy

Your div #text, #text2 and the div #headline have fixed widths larger than the phone width. Try making those 100% width.

Could you look at the home page, it is doing the same thing and I don’t have any fixed widths.

This wash’t happening until I upgraded to 7.1.1

Hmm - doubtful, whatsoever:

The Div in question is this SnowFlake which has a left position of 578px and you’d perhaps agree that this is off-screen on a mobile (max 480px) causing the page to side-scroll.

It’s all about positioning and width values. Unfortunately people meant this as bug - it isn’t at all.

Cheers

Your page has width = device-width, minimum-scale = 0.25, maximum-scale = 1.60

Try making that…

Width - none
Height = none

and

initial-scale = 1.00, minimum-scale = 1.00, maximum-scale = 1.60

From the Inspector Palette > Mobile

Dave, can you send me a screen grab of what you mean. I never touch these in the inspector.

You also appear to have set breakpoints at 40px and 35em - not sure if these are meant?

My lowest breakpoint is 375. Where are you seeing that. Maybe it’s these Freeway Templates.

Ugh!

What’s that app called?

Otherwise I’m using XScope, they have dimensions for different screen & devices.

Or, if you are using Safari on El Cap, ⌥⌘R will bring you into the new responsive mode.
