Yesterday I applied the better meta action to my masterpage. After doing that all my pages lost the linkstyles I applied to the master.
I can’t get this to happen in a simple test document. Would you please get in contact with support to resolve this issue if it happens again?
In general, if you have found bugs, it’s helpful to report them to support as well because although we read the lists here, we don’t manage it as thoroughly as the support traffic and so problems may get missed.
I have asked Willem to send in his problem file (the original post) - and so I’d like to ask John to do the same.
Please send in your FW6 file (just the Freeway file) as an attachment to email@hidden so we can see if we get the same problem when we open the file in FW7. I have tried doing this with a small sample file, but it all works fine when I update it to FW7
Well it is a Better Meta action problem I guess:
I have applied the action to my masterpage. So all pages have the action now. Yesterday all the pages lost their linkstyles. I applied these styles on the masterpage through the appearance palet.
Yesterday I re-applied the master settings on all pages to repair the linkstyles.
But… today I changed the pagedescription in the better meta action on one particular page. Immediately the link styles disappeared! It is then fixed by checking the master settings in the palet again, but I think this is a real bug…
