[Pro] FWP 6 + Addthis

I can’t get AddThis to work properly either as the Action or as a Markup item.

I’ve removed my CSS menus, which may have been playing a role, so now the Markup shows up in Firefox, but if you repeatedly refresh the page, it comes and goes. It doesn’t show up at all for me in Safari.

The AddThis action is working here, but when I have my CSS menus on the same page, the Drop-Down fails in both Safari and Firefox.

Here’s a page with nothing except for a single text box and the AddThis bits

Any help much appreciated,

Grant

Are you previewing it locally, or on a server, when you see the content “come and go”? I believe there’s an issue with AddThis and previewing locally, owing to how they (the AddThis people themselves) load the JavaScript and CSS to work around http vs https URLs.

There’s an error in that page on line 16: function frameLoad is looking for an element named ‘galleria’. Unless that is present on the page (or unless the function is slightly rewritten to test for the presence before doing anything else) no other JavaScript on the same page has much of a chance.

This page is the result of me eliminating bits to try and find out the root of the problem. There was an iFrame with a Galleria slideshow in it and I guess something else expects it to be there.

Here’s the normal page, with the AddThis bit in a Markup box, which works in 5.5 but not in 6.0 :

Similar error, this time looking for ‘albumFrame’.

Can you publish the two pages at different URLs so I can compare notes?
