[Pro] Generator Meta Tag

Hi. I recently submitted my website to Softpress for consideration in inclusion in the gallery.
I didn’t understand the Meta Tag Generator thing…

It says : your site must contain the Generator Meta tag in the source.

How do I check for this? I hope its there otherwise my site will be rejected.

With your FW Doc open go to Page>Meta Tags

When that opens you should see a Name/Value pair of something like

Name: GENERATOR Value: Freeway 5 Pro 5.5.2

You should add this to your Master Page(s) and it will be included in all the pages of your site.

It is automatically inserted when you create a document, but you can remove it manually.

To check, goto your homepage and to the Page Menu then down to Meta Tags and you should see in there the generator tag.

Sorry, had to attend to my little ones crying…

I have checked and have found I have a generator: Freeway 5.4.3

That was lucky then…Thank you for your replies. It seems so easy once someone has explained it to you like that, but it’s the end of the world when you have no idea and left wondering how to do it.

I wonder what questions I’ll come up with next…This is the 3rd time I have asked for help.

Maybe if I get too good at doing things, I can just log on for a chat or even help someone else with a dilema.

Thank you again, especially to you David. You are always around when I find myself in a spot of bother.
