We upgraded our Freeway Pro software to version 6.1.2 last year, but our site was originally designed using Freeway 4 Pro.
Our site contains several GIF files, the first of which is shown on our homepage at the address I have provided. The GIF shows a display board containing posters, which are meant to change at short intervals. The GIFs were created in Photoshop CS5.
Since making some minor changes to the site using the new software and uploading the amended site, these GIFs are no longer working and show as static pictures.
My first thought is that these images have become “unlinked” - in that they
no longer link to the originals. I think that Freeway Pro would then create
static versions to compensate.
My other thought is that Freeway Pro is not treating these as Pass Through
images in the new file. If you select the image in FWP, the Inspector panel
should say whether it’s Pass Through or not. If not, the only way I can
think to reset it would be to re-import it (there’s a checkbox on the Image
Import dialog).
