I know a lot of people hate GoDaddy, but I just upgraded my clients this weekend to GoDaddy’s new cPanel servers and the speed improvement and server interface is awesome!
According to the conversation I had with the tech that moved all of my sites over, GoDaddy recognizes that they have a bad reputation in the industry, especially amongst website developers, and are working hard to improve that. About a year ago, they hired a new CEO named Blake Irving: Blake Irving - Wikipedia
Apparently, this guy is making great strides to not only improve GoDaddy’s racy image, but to bring their technology up-to-date and make it more compliant with today’s server standards. I think this bodes well for all GoDaddy users.
