[Pro] Godday and contact form

Hi, Thanks for the help - Got the form to work with Godaddy

Next problem, I can never get a fail page? Even if I just press send - it will send a form - And goes to the success page - but weirdly the home link does not work???

There is no link on your Home text

Why not have your success page as a normal page with full navigation links etc.

Hi Justin,
Unlike the regular PHP processor the action creates the GoDaddy option doesn’t support an error page. This is a limitation of the installed GoDaddy script. You’ll see that when you select the GoDaddy option in the action palette the error page control dims as an indication that this field ins’t needed. If you’ve already set an error page then this will simply be ignored when using GoDaddy’s script.

Looking at the success page I can’t see a link wrapped around the Home text. Make sure that the updated page has been uploaded and that you can see the link in the source code. If you’ve uploaded a file with a link in it and you are still not seeing it work correctly then I suspect something between you and the page is cacheing the page. Try clearing the cache on your browser or simply change the name of the page in Freeway and upload again.
Regards,
Tim.

If I had a say in this, I would, I’ve never liked GoDaddy.

But thanks for the help

Dont get me wrong - I am a GD customer and register and manage my domains with them - just wouldn’t use their quirky hosting.

But if you (and others like you) moan about this to GD then something may change, eventually. But without telling them then nothing will.
