[Pro] Google Font

I’m trying to use a specific Google Font LATO 300 (which is the “light version”.

I’ve added BEFORE in Markup:

(pasted from google)

as well as added LATO to FONT SET (pasted from google)

In using the font, the output to the browser is always LATO 400 Regular instead of the light version I want.

Any thoughts of how to incorporate the various weights of a Google font family?

many thanks

The ordinary font-weight controls of FWP don’t give you the necessary
ability to specify the lighter 300 font weight. You must use the Extended
Style controls to set the font-weight to 300.

Open the Style Editor, select your style for the font, then open the
Extended editor, create a new attribute name “font-weight” with a value of
“300”. This will over-ride the normal FWP default for that style.
