[Pro] graphic item inside an html cut off

Hey, everyone.

I am working on a site for a cable television company. I have a page with over 100 channels, each channel designed in an html container and inside the container is a graphic with a station logo.

The problem is: when I publish, the logos are getting cut off. There is a 1 px border around all of the boxes, and they are clearly fine on the layout, but when published they are not spaced correctly, and the 1 px border gets cut off either at the top or the bottom.

If anyone can take a look and give me an opinion of what might be happening…I’d be grateful.

Thanks,

Rich

Are the borders on your images already?

If so then take them off and add them to the graphic container instead (or just resize the container to exclude the border)

Dave,

Thanks for looking. The images do not have a border on the existing graphic. I put a border on each little graphic container and then filled it with the image. For the life of me, I can’t figure this one out.

They should just line up like I have them on the layout. Instead, they all are like they have floated down or up and lose the border.

Thanks again, Rich

In that case why not import as a pass-through into a box with a border.

If only to try it.

I really need some assistance here. There should be no reason that the spacing is off here.

If anyone else could take a look…

Thanks,

Rich

Hi Rich,

one (of a few) things I do not really understand:

You say that each channel is situated within a HTML-Item, that contains graphic items with the channel logo.

Source code is telling me: “Tables”.

I am not able to read and interpret code, but do this happen when css-button is switched off?

Doing it as David suggested is a standard procedure within Freeway I do a hundreds of times within my projects (and never failed) as long as the stuff fairly enough is well prepared.

So that might the point people stuck giving any advices here (and David is excellent in figuring any problems out).

I personally need to see some piece of artwork (or a screener) that shows the actual state of the art and it would be interesting to see how one logo looks before throwing it within freeway.

If you really have a graphic item, choose after importing image element-> Frame to fit content and look what probably happens (but this would make me wonder as well …)

So rip me off my wonderment.

Cheers

Thomas

In the Inspector, have you tried setting your Borders to Position: Inside?
