How do I create a button in freeway express pro.
The item option that has the Graphic selection is all gray how do I get it to work?

You either have Pro or Express?
If by a button you mean a graphic with a link on it then ‘draw’ a graphic with the Graphic tool (the one to the right of the action icon)
With it still selected Cmd + K will bring up the Edit Hyperlink dialogue box to add your link.
If you want to create a Rollover then there are Video Tutorials for that on the Softpress website http://www.softpress.com/help/tutorials/

I did that also. I have express pro. I really think some stuff are not working. I installed freeway express pro 5.5.6 on my iMac and Mac book pro and still no results.

There is no such app as express pro.
Express and Pro are 2 separate apps with different capabilities.

My fault it say pro. Now do I make different pages to work with the links. For a example. Take a photo’s and put them on a page. Do I have to make each page separate after making a link?

If you have created the pages already then you can select the graphic you want to link from and use the Link picker at the bottom of the FW design window - it looks like a little Globe.

No havn’t I’m trying to read up how to make the pages. I download type manual but I can’t seem to find how to make a page to add pictures.

I think that you should look at some of the Tutorials
http://www.softpress.com/help/tutorials/
and also have a good read of the manual - otherwise it is going to take you a long time to get to grips with FW.
Images can be drag and dropped from the Finder onto your FW page but there is also the companion app - Showcase (which you got when you downloaded FW) that handles slideshows and galleries.
