[Pro] Help creating CSS Menus from Graphic Rollovers

Greetings,

I successfully created a nav bar with graphical rollovers, and would like to add vertical menus to some of the graphics. After sifting through the reference book, the kb and this site, I am still without a solution and am hoping some of you seasoned FW users can assist.

Take a look at www.united.com and you will see what I’m trying to accomplish. If you mouse over the ‘Planning & Booking’ or ‘Itineraries & check-in’, etc. tabs in the nav bar near the top of the page, you will see how the mouse-over state image has a menu that appears and disappears. I’d like to add the same functionality to my nav bar.

The closest HTML/CSS solution appears to be creating the menu on a layer, and then triggering the layer with mouse-over state image. I created the layer that houses my menu, but have been unsuccessful in setting up the trigger between the mouse-over state image to display the layer. Feels like I am almost there, but no cigar as of yet.

Have any of you successfully built graphic rollovers with CSS menus with FW? If so, can you lend a hand in the form of an explanation as to what I am doing wrong, and how to rectify the problem? Thank you in advance.

Hi Collins

Can you post a link to what you have just now - this might help us see where to go with what you have already.
