[Pro] Help! Weird javascript error in CSS Menus

I’m on Freeway Pro 5.4.2 and have created a CSS menu. All was originally well, but then portions of the menu went crazy. I rebooted my iMac, reopened Freeway, and began again from scratch.

Now, I keep getting a javascript error message the moment I try to apply the CSS Menu action item to my list. Here’s a screenshot of what I’m getting: http://laurabelgrave.com/tester/java-error.jpg

It’s hard to read, but what it says is “fwParameters.markertop.fwMenuItems=gStyles;”

And at the top, if you can’t make it out from the screenshot, it says, “fwParameters.markertop has no properties.”

That’s the message that comes up every time I first get the alert about a javascript error and then hit “clear error.” It apparently doesn’t clear anything, and if there’s a way I’m to do that on my own, I’m at a loss.

I’ve used this action on a different site successfully, so I don’t know what’s going on now. What I do now is that I’m on a deadline and I’ve lost the bulk of the day trying to make this play nice.

Please! Any ideas on what I should do??

Never mind. I fixed it by running Cocktail and all the tedious maintenance chores, then rebooting once again. Maybe in the process of emptying browser caches the program got less confused. I don’t know, but when I started again, this time everything worked as expected.

For now, I’m quitting while I’m ahead.
