Redirect means from one page (index.html) to another (m.index.html or so).
So getting this to work, I suppose you need to remove all breakpoints (in the edit → media (types)?) so you have just the default. The rest should be the same as it happened in lower FW versions.
But it’s just a guess cause I never did the redirect route.
Redirect is in my universe only legit when content is different on both pages. If not you create “duplicated content” and I’m not sure if the queen (google) is amused. It is, btw. one (of a couple), but perhaps the prime argument for responsive features.
